Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy and onsite speech services in a school setting located in Gettysburg, PA. This role supports a total of 56 students across multiple classrooms, including Autistic Support and Learning Support programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services through a combination of teletherapy and onsite sessions.
- Collaborate with staff to support 2 Autistic Support classrooms at North Eastern High Roads of Southern York and 1 Learning Support classroom at York Technical.
- Work with a caseload of approximately 56 students, segmented as follows: 30 at York Tech, 16 at North Eastern (8 per classroom), and 10 at High Roads Southern York.
- Provide supervision if holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF), with a required supervision fee covered by the agency.
- Comply with the requirement to work alongside a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for teletherapy services, as virtual-only SLPs without an assistant are not permitted.
Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification.
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate.
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) status accepted if supervision fee is arranged.
- Experience in teletherapy and onsite speech services in educational settings.
- Familiarity with supporting Autistic Support and Learning Support students.
- Resume demonstrating relevant experience and certifications.
