Drive Deal Management: Lead day-to-day execution of M&A projects from kick-off to close, often managing multiple transactions at once.
Source Strategic Opportunities: Partner across business units and with external advisors to identify, assess, and align deals with group-wide growth priorities.
Valuation & Analysis: Oversee advanced valuation and financial modeling, providing clear insights on economic scenarios and deal economics.
Lead Diligence & Negotiations: Coordinate functional due diligence, structure deals with Legal, Tax, and Accounting teams, and negotiate across workstreams.
Build Relationships: Cultivate and manage relationships with bankers, advisors, and other external stakeholders to strengthen the firm’s deal pipeline.
Executive Influence: Craft and deliver board-ready presentations that effectively communicate deal rationale and trade-offs.
Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop junior team members, instilling excellence in execution.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Contribute to corporate finance initiatives including goodwill valuation, cost of equity analysis, and market/industry research.What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 7+ years in Corporate Development, M&A, or Investment Banking (preferably within insurance/FIG).
Expertise: Strong corporate finance and valuation modeling skills, with proven transaction execution experience.
Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, or related field (CFA designation highly preferred).
Skills: Strong project management, negotiation, and influencing abilities; proven ability to lead without direct authority.
Communication: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills—comfortable engaging at the executive and board level.
Tools: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ.
