Data Engineer, Boston, MA. Hybrid, Financial Services, 115-155k base, bonusOur client is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data team. The Data Engineer will report to the Director of Data Engineering. This role will play a critical role in designing and building scalable data solutions, working closely with various operations teams, data analysts, and business stakeholders. The Data Engineer will help build a modern, cloud native data and analytics platform centered around technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Snaplogic, Python and Java.This is a hybrid work environment opportunity located in Boston, Massachusetts with a weekly in-office schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and remote work availability on Mondays and Fridays.Responsibilities:• Build best in class Data platform to ingest, process and store enterprise data for our business teams to gain insights into our data• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software and data solutions• Continuously enhance data pipelines through automation, expanded yet increasingly efficient unit testing and increasing test coverage, ultimately optimizing time-to-market and quality• Collaborate with development team in building innovative, event driven, API-first cloud native solutions using AWS platform, Snowflake, Snaplogic, Tableau, Python and Rest APIs• Collaborate with the product area owner, data product leads, Scrum Masters, and development teams to build effective data ingestion and integration pipeline.
