Flourish Minds Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment while providing vital services within a hospice center setting in Abilene, Texas. Work Environment
This position operates within a remote setting, allowing flexibility for work-life balance while being associated with a hospice center dedicated to providing comprehensive support for families facing challenges associated with child development. Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of young children’s social and emotional well-being.
Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), customizing approaches that address the unique needs of each child.
Monitor developmental outcomes for children, sharing insights as a vital member of the interdisciplinary team.
Engage with families, providing essential support and resources to enhance their child’s development.
Adhere to all Federal and State regulations while ensuring compliance with established policies.
Build rapport with children and families, creating a trusting and supportive environment conducive to learning and growth.
Employ evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment Practices to inform strategies and interventions.
Implement the IFSP for enrolled families, recommending the frequency and type of services based on developmental status and family input.
Utilize coaching models and natural environment teaching methodologies in all interactions to support developmental learning.
Maintain a commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals serviced by adhering to compliance and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on children and their families, specifically those who are dealing with developmental delays or disabilities. You will work with infants and toddlers, promoting their growth across various developmental domains such as cognitive, emotional, social, and communication skills. The role is particularly significant as you support families during challenging times, providing them with tools and insight to foster their child's development.
Qualifications
A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
Licensure from the Department of Public Health as an LCSW is required.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Proficient in adapting interventions to meet diverse learning styles and requirements of children.
Strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to collaborate effectively with children, families, and team members.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings is desirable.
Demonstrated commitment to implementing Natural Learning Environment Practices.

Compensation and Benefits
