Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations of clients to accurately identify their mental health concerns and develop tailored treatment plans.

Facilitate individual therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote personal growth and emotional well-being.

Collaboratively establish therapeutic goals with clients, regularly monitoring and documenting their progress towards these objectives.

Provide teletherapy services, ensuring accessibility for clients facing transportation or mobility challenges.

Maintain thorough and confidential documentation to uphold ethical standards in practice.

Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training to stay informed about the latest trends and methodologies in therapy.

Qualifications

Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ unique experiences and struggles.

Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle caseloads and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience

Experience in providing therapy for couples and families, enhancing their relational dynamics.

Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.

Background in working with clients facing substance abuse issues or addiction recovery is highly desirable.
