Position Overview Sutter Health Counseling, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

Provide a comprehensive range of therapeutic services including individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, psychological evaluations, and group therapy sessions.

Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and evaluate mental and emotional disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Utilize various therapeutic techniques to treat psychological disorders, selecting appropriate approaches while determining the frequency, intensity, and duration of therapies.

Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment programs as necessary, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Consult with fellow mental health professionals regarding test results and treatment approaches, fostering a collaborative environment focused on the patients' overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus The LMFT will interact with a diverse array of clients within the Dublin community, providing therapeutic support to adults and families as well as children and adolescents. This expansive reach allows our therapists to address a wide spectrum of emotional and psychological challenges while contributing to building healthier family dynamics and relationships. Specific focus on children and adolescents may involve handling school-related issues, family conflicts, or emotional disturbances, requiring an adept understanding of developmental psychology.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field, signifying a solid academic foundation in psychological principles and therapies.

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals and families in a therapeutic setting.

Exceptional listening skills paired with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.

Strong capacity to remain calm and reassuring during high-stress situations, effectively de-escalating conflicts when necessary.

A thorough understanding of human behavior, various behavioral disorders, and the strategies required for effective diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Organizational skills necessary to manage complex paperwork, including billing and insurance claims, within deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Advanced training or certifications in specific therapeutic methodologies.

Experience with telemedicine and providing virtual therapy services.

Past involvement in therapeutic retreats or workshops that enhance both personal and professional development.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, competitive in the current market for mental health professionals.
