Position Overview Elite Horizon Mental Health Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients' mood disorder symptoms, detailing their intensity, frequency, and duration.

Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients' individual goals and therapeutic needs, actively involving clients in the planning process.

Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client healing and growth.

Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care techniques.

Monitor and document client progress regularly, adapting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and maximize client outcomes.

Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to contribute to best practices in your clinical work.

Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to professional, legal, and ethical standards.

Participate in case consultations and professional development workshops to continuously refine skills and expand knowledge in mental health care.

Advocate for clients by addressing stigma associated with mental health issues and promoting access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this role is treating individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with a diverse clientele, including homeless populations, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, striving to make a significant impact on their lives through dedicated therapeutic support.

Qualifications

A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Exemplary communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and families.

Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' diverse experiences and struggles.

Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a caseload and maintain accurate client records.

Preferred Experience

Experience in conducting therapy for individuals with mood disorders.

Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy practices.

Knowledge of additional therapeutic modalities or certifications in related areas.

Experience advocating for marginalized populations within the mental health sphere.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, contingent upon qualifications and experience.
