Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment plans, meeting organizational and regulatory compliance standards using our electronic health record system.
Involve family members in the therapeutic process when appropriate, educating them on mental health concerns and coping strategies.
Create and sustain strong professional relationships with colleagues, support staff, and community organizations to enhance patient care.
Act as an advocate for clients in crisis situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques and emergency intervention protocols.
Engage in regular case consultations and participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices in the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clientele is diverse, including individuals and families dealing with anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, trauma, and adjustment issues. You will encounter clients from various backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges that require a tailored therapeutic approach. This role focuses on empowering clients to harness their strengths and improve their mental health through evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
A valid LMFT license in the State of Vermont.
Comprehensive understanding of LMFT ethics, methodologies, and best practices for delivering therapy.
Superior communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills necessary for effective therapy and record-keeping.
The ability to maintain composure and work effectively under pressure in crisis situations.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing therapy.
Experience with specific modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or Family Systems Theory.
Familiarity with telehealth practices and tools for delivering remote therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
