Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations for clients to identify their mental health concerns and to inform individualized treatment planning.
Providing tailored therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, or other evidence-based practices according to client needs.
Collaborating with clients to establish realistic and achievable therapeutic goals and regularly monitoring their progress throughout the treatment journey.
Offering teletherapy options to accommodate clients who prefer virtual sessions, enhancing access to care and promoting client engagement.
Maintaining accurate and timely client documentation as mandated by ethical and regulatory guidelines, reflecting our commitment to professional integrity.
Participating in ongoing training and professional development to advance clinical skills and stay updated with emerging practices in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our practice caters to a diverse range of clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts. The therapist will engage with individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and presenting issues, including those who prefer virtual therapy due to personal circumstances. Qualifications
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following qualifications:
Possess a current and valid license in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
Hold a Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients.
Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and challenges.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills for effective caseload management and administrative duties.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, the following experience would be advantageous: previous experience in private practice settings, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and knowledge of telehealth platforms. Additionally, experience working with specialized populations or clinical issues can further enhance your application.
