Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients’ needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform personalized treatment plans.
Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches, empowering clients through meaningful interventions.
Maintain precise and confidential clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and demonstrating our commitment to ethical, professional standards of care.
Engage closely with a committed team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to deliver holistic treatment plans, enhancing client outcomes through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Participate in regular case consultations and peer review discussions to stay current with best practices, facilitating an atmosphere of continuous learning and quality improvement.
Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, fostering a supportive environment conducive to healing.
Stay informed about the latest research and trends in mental health by integrating new knowledge into practice, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clients represent a diverse spectrum of demographics, experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. You will be instrumental in guiding individuals on their path to recovery, tailoring your approach to meet their unique circumstances and ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
Demonstrated proficiency in conducting solution-focused psychotherapy and tailoring interventions to meet individualized client needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, enabling effective navigation of complex client situations.
A collaborative mindset, appreciating the value of teamwork in providing holistic care.
Preferred Experience
At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within a community health setting.
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to accurately document client interactions and treatment plans.
Familiarity with community resources and supportive services available within the Rio Rico area.
