Work Environment In the remote setting of our community health clinic, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of individuals seeking mental health care, ensuring an in-depth understanding of their unique needs.

Develop tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions addressing the specific challenges faced by each patient.

Administer solution-based psychotherapy techniques to help patients navigate their mental health pathways effectively.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations to ensure continuity of care.

Engage in ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team, participating in regular meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment adjustments.

Provide education and support to patients and their families, fostering understanding and engagement in the treatment process.

Stay informed of the latest research and developments in the mental health field to continually enhance service offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of patients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. This diversity allows you to apply various therapeutic techniques suited to different age groups and backgrounds, ensuring a well-rounded approach to mental health care. Your work will empower clients to overcome mental health challenges, resulting in improved quality of life and overall well-being.

Qualifications

A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

A valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.

Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy methods and therapeutic practices.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of post-MSW experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient mental health.

Experience working with a diverse patient demographic, including but not limited to children, veterans, and those from various socioeconomic backgrounds.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient information efficiently.
