Clear Mindcare Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Work Environment
This position is designed for a remote work setting, promoting flexibility and work-life balance. You will be working with a diverse population of clients while maintaining regular collaboration and communication with a supportive team of mental health professionals. The role includes utilizing telehealth tools and platforms to interact with clients, ensuring you have the resources needed to deliver high-quality care from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities
Document client interactions and assessments accurately on the same day to ensure timely information dissemination and coordination of care for those at increased risk of crisis.
Complete critical incident reports within 24 hours when necessary, capturing key details crucial for client safety.
Provide after-hours phone support on an alternating basis to coordinate care and respond effectively to client needs during critical times.
Work proactively with clients to develop personalized strategies aimed at avoiding the need for crisis interventions.
Maintain up-to-date crisis alerts and communication with county crisis services to ensure seamless support for program participants.
Coordinate transitions for clients moving from hospital to outpatient care, ensuring that communication with hospital staff is effective for safe discharges.
Utilize crisis de-escalation techniques, demonstrating calmness and confidence as the Clinician of the Day.
Conduct and document thorough risk assessments and safety plans in collaboration with clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and severe emotional disturbances. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique circumstances, providing tailored therapeutic interventions that support their journey toward recovery. Engagement with this population will require a high degree of empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet varying needs.
Qualifications
A valid independent license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) in the state of Oregon.
A Master’s degree or doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution.
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues.
Flexibility to adapt analytical approaches during assessments and interventions.
Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
Preferred Experience
Experience in community mental health settings and familiarity with crisis intervention protocols.
Demonstrated ability to manage high caseload volumes while maintaining quality client care.
Experience using electronic health record systems for documentation and client management.
Proven skills in motivational interviewing techniques and therapeutic rapport-building.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
