Work Environment This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to deliver services in a comfortable setting while connecting with clients through telehealth technology. Our team collaborates seamlessly using digital tools, ensuring efficient communication and coordinated care for our patients. Working within a community health clinic framework, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify and evaluate individual patient needs, formulating tailored treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.

Provide individual, couple, and family therapy utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Facilitate support groups and psychoeducational sessions to help patients navigate common mental health issues, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding.

Offer crisis intervention services and support during acute mental health emergencies, providing immediate assistance to those in distress.

Keep abreast of current best practices in mental health treatment and apply this knowledge to enhance patient outcomes.

Collaborate with fellow clinicians to align treatment goals and methods, ensuring a comprehensive care approach for all patients.

Maintain meticulous and confidential records of patient interactions and treatment plans, in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to continue expanding your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will provide therapeutic services to a diverse range of individuals including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Our patient population is reflective of the diverse Fresno community, and you will play an essential role in delivering culturally competent care that respects and integrates the unique backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications

A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders, with a solid understanding of evidence-based therapies.

Excellent assessment skills and experience in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.

Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

Experience providing therapy in a telehealth format, demonstrating adaptability in digital communication methods.

Previous engagement in community health initiatives or similar settings that emphasize holistic patient care.

Familiarity with local resources such as support groups and community services that can enhance patient treatment.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
