Position Overview Accurate Connection Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in providing high-quality care and support for individuals grappling with mental health challenges. This full-time role allows for remote work, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule while making a significant impact on the lives of our clients. You will be responsible for crisis counseling, individual and group therapy, as well as public education initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness.

This setting is designed for efficiency, enabling counselors to focus predominantly on client care with minimal administrative interruptions.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and timely administrative and clinical records in accordance with RAMS policies and clinical standards, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients in distress, using established protocols to assess and address urgent needs effectively.

Offer consultations to the Human Services Agency staff regarding client care strategies and case management processes.

Engage in case conferences and participate actively in clinical team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and promote best practices in mental health care.

Participate in both individual and group supervision to foster professional development and receive feedback on clinical practices.

Conduct detailed biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional states, ultimately determining appropriate treatment plans and referrals.

Deliver culturally sensitive counseling services for both individual and group therapy sessions, addressing mental health and substance abuse concerns.

Collaborate with clients, case managers, and external providers to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach towards client treatment and support.

Prepare comprehensive psychological assessment reports with vocational recommendations tailored to client capabilities and comprehension levels.

Continuously engage in professional development to keep abreast of new therapies and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus Our clientele includes individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to major depressive disorder (MDD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and grief-related issues. You will work closely with clients to provide support, encouraging them to develop skills that enhance their coping strategies and overall mental wellness.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

Active social work license as per state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).

Proven experience working with diverse populations and different psychotherapy modalities.

Demonstrated ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on client needs.

No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through third-party checks.

Authorized to work in the United States.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication and relationship-building with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Experience with a range of mental health disorders, including MDD, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and grief.

Familiarity with technology-enhanced counseling tools and platforms for remote therapy sessions.

Previous experience in an outpatient counseling setting is advantageous.
