Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and screenings of clients to evaluate their mental health needs effectively. Utilize diagnostic tools and interviews to gather information that guides treatment.
Create and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specifications of each client's unique challenges and goals, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
Lead individual and group therapy sessions, drawing from a diverse toolbox of therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), based on the client’s needs.
Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to provide integrated care, sharing insights and strategies that enhance client recovery and well-being.
Offer education and support to clients’ families, equipping them with tools to understand the mental health journey and engage meaningfully in the recovery process.
Maintain meticulous and confidential records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will focus on a diverse client base that includes children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and more. Special attention is given to building a therapeutic alliance that empowers clients to actively participate in their treatment.
Qualifications
A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory for this role.
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
Proven experience in mental health counseling, with specialized training in relevant therapeutic modalities being a strong advantage.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport and trust with clients, fostering an environment conducive to healing.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective collaboration with the treatment team and provide clear documentation of client progress.
Preferred Experience
At least 1 year of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly within community health or outpatient services.
An understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with modern therapeutic techniques.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000.
