Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at The Forge Recovery Center, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate each client's mental health status and treatment needs.
Developing detailed individualized treatment plans that incorporate both individual and group therapy strategies, tailored to the specific circumstances of each client.
Leading engaging and effective therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure clients can overcome dependencies and foster positive changes in their lives.
Setting realistic, measurable treatment goals in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with ethical and legal standards.
Maintaining accurate and thorough progress notes and treatment documentation that adhere to both state and federal regulations.
Collaborating with the clinical director on routine chart audits to review treatment notes and ensure compliance with established best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work primarily with clients experiencing mental health disorders and substance use issues, including those with dual diagnoses. Our clientele often presents with diverse backgrounds and unique challenges, requiring a tailored approach to foster trust and understanding. You will be instrumental in facilitating support and guidance as they navigate their recovery paths.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, along with a valid LCSW license.
A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a social work, mental health, or substance use center.
Strong clinical competencies and case management skills, with an emphasis on mental health services.
Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and KIPU Systems for client management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong interpersonal skills to foster effective client relationships.
Preferred Experience
While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those candidates who have additional experience in substance use treatment settings and those familiar with modern therapeutic techniques applicable to mental health and addiction recovery.
Compensation and Benefits
The Forge Recovery Center values its staff and offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
