Assess and diagnose patients as needed, evaluating their mental health status and the effectiveness of care using recognized tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). You will develop individualized care plans that account for cultural diversity and specific patient needs. Continuously monitor patient progress, implementing tailored interventions and strategies that align with mental health diagnoses. Maintain accurate and timely treatment records, reports, and other clinical documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and departmental protocols. Collaborate with patients and their families to formulate comprehensive treatment plans aimed at addressing unique needs and desired outcomes. Anticipate patient safety concerns and symptom reduction needs while working as part of a multidisciplinary team, actively participating in meetings and project initiatives. Facilitate conversions by coordinating referral options and serving as a bridge between patients and other treatment providers, establishing strong professional relationships. Provide mentorship and educational support to students, interns, and volunteers, while contributing to team development through peer reviews, clinical collaboration, and chart auditing. Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily serving adults, families, and youth facing challenges related to a cancer diagnosis, which may include emotional, psychological, and social aspects of their healthcare journey. Providing empathetic support and evidence-based therapeutic interventions is crucial to empower patients and enhance their overall quality of life. Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. A current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Strong clinical skills with a focus on outpatient settings and mental health. Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, previous experience in a school-based or outpatient mental health setting, along with specialized training in dealing with patients undergoing cancer care, will be beneficial. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and electronic health records (EHR) is also a plus, aiding in the efficient handling of patient information. Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this role is between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
