Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position with Child and Adult Empower Mental Clinic Services, located in sunny Sunnyvale, California. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in providing top-tier mental health services to children, adolescents, and families, while facilitating a connection between clients and vital community resources.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, history, and establish treatment plans.

Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic approaches tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Serve as a liaison to local community resources, ensuring clients have access to necessary services such as housing support, educational programs, and healthcare resources.

Execute thorough case management tasks, including documentation of service delivery, progress notes, and other required paperwork compliant with facility standards.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, providing clinical support when necessary, enhancing overall care provided by health professionals.

Engage with the Utilization Review Department to handle authorization and payment issues, streamlining administrative processes to focus more on client care.

Attend regular team meetings and supervision sessions to discuss patient progress, share insights, and engage in continuous learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily focus on serving children, adolescents, and their families who face diverse mental health challenges. Your aim will be to foster resilience, support emotional regulation, and promote mental health literacy among clients, empowering them to overcome their circumstances. You will be addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral problems, with a culturally competent approach sensitive to the community you serve.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Current, active license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.

Proficient in setting and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries with clients.

Diligent in documenting services, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to deadlines.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience, preferably working with children and families in a mental health setting.

Experience in community outreach and resource coordination, facilitating client access to broader social services.

Familiarity with electronic health record systems and case management software.

Experience conducting workshops or seminars on mental health topics is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 – $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload obligations.
