Position Overview Embodied Mind Counseling P.C. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team. This full-time position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while providing essential mental health services to clients in a community health clinic setting. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental health challenges and formulate tailored treatment plans.

Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and interventions to foster personal growth and enhance well-being.

Work with clients to establish therapeutic goals and regularly monitor progress to ensure effective outcomes.

Offer teletherapy options, allowing for flexibility and accessibility for clients who may face transportation barriers.

Maintain precise and timely documentation in adherence to ethical standards and organizational policies.

Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on current trends in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will provide care to a diverse client population, including individuals grappling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Your approach will emphasize empathy, understanding, and support, creating a safe space for clients to express their challenges and work toward recovery. You will employ a holistic view, addressing not only the symptoms but also the underlying factors contributing to mental health conditions.

Qualifications

Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of secure and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.

Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences and struggles.

Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle caseloads and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in teletherapy and remote counseling services.

Experience working with a variety of mental health issues, particularly trauma and addiction.

Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

A competitive annual salary in the range of $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
