Position Overview Embrace Life Mental Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Embrace Life Mental Healthcare, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals, couples, and families, using established best practices and clinical techniques.

Providing therapeutic interventions for a variety of issues, such as alcohol and substance abuse, emotional and psychological distress, grief and loss, and family relationship conflicts.

Facilitating therapeutic sessions that may involve working with individuals while also attending to couples and family dynamics to foster healing and improved communication.

Developing personalized treatment plans that align with the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

Tracking and documenting client progress through detailed case notes and treatment updates in line with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus Your client base will include diverse individuals ranging from adults to children and adolescents. You will address a broad spectrum of challenges, including but not limited to:

Alcohol and substance abuse issues

Domestic conflicts and abuse

Grief and loss related to life transitions

Adjustment issues stemming from divorce and separation

Challenges faced in blended families

Communication barriers among family members

Qualifications The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.

Demonstrated commitment to ethical clinical practice and a passion for helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

Preferred Experience While we welcome newly licensed professionals, we also encourage experienced candidates to apply. Preferred experience may include:

Prior work in outpatient settings or community mental health organizations.

Experience with teletherapy or innovative therapeutic interventions.

Specialized training or certifications in family therapy, child therapy, or crisis intervention.
