Position Overview Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our hospice care team in a remote capacity. In this full-time role, you will leverage your expertise in social work to provide compassionate support and interventions to patients and their families during critical times, ensuring their emotional and psychological needs are met as they navigate the complexities of end-of-life care.

Work Environment This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to impactful patient care initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals facing mental health challenges associated with terminal or life-limiting illnesses.

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients’ psychosocial needs and formulate effective treatment plans based on best practices.

Employ a range of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically tailored to support end-of-life and grief-related issues.

Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that adheres to regulatory standards and reflect patient progress.

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other social workers, to provide coordinated, holistic care.

Educate patients and their families about available mental health resources, coping strategies, and support mechanisms.

Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated with the latest research and integrating new evidence into clinical practice.

Manage your caseload efficiently, ensuring treatment goals are met and ethical standards are upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will work primarily with patients who are facing terminal illnesses and their families, providing emotional support, counseling, and resource navigation. Your role will involve addressing complex grief issues and facilitating discussions around advance care planning, ensuring that patients and families feel empowered and informed throughout the decision-making process.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Currently hold a valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on end-of-life care or substance abuse therapy.

Proficient in solution-focused therapeutic interventions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and care coordination.

Knowledge of community resources relevant to hospice patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
