Position Overview Harmonious Companions Counseling, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist, licensed as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to join our innovative telehealth team. Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality therapy to clients through individual sessions and, when appropriate, family or group therapy sessions, adapting methods based on the needs and preferences of the patient.

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately diagnose conditions and create tailored treatment plans, incorporating results from screenings and client feedback.

Maintain detailed, ongoing documentation including treatment plan reviews, case notes, and other necessary clinical paperwork in compliance with organizational policies.

Engage in collaborative discussions with team members to share insights, strategies, and resources that enhance client care and contribute to community wellbeing.

Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary while providing encouragement and support to foster resilience and positive change.

Participate in continuous professional development opportunities, including training sessions and workshops, to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus The Mental Health Counselor will serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, families, and individuals facing various mental health challenges, including co-occurring disorders, substance abuse issues, and behavioral health concerns. The therapist will cultivate therapeutic relationships that encourage open communication and trust, thereby creating a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications

A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant counseling field (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) is mandatory.

Valid state licensure to practice in mental health therapy, specifically as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Demonstrated knowledge of current counseling principles, practices, techniques, and trends, along with proficiency in assessment and diagnosis.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in providing therapy to individuals with mental and behavioral health challenges, particularly with a focus on co-occurring disorders or substance abuse treatment.

Experience working with children, families, and couples, utilizing therapeutic modalities that resonate with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Familiarity with digital clinical tools and teletherapy best practices to enhance the remote therapy experience.
