Families Center Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic clinical team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing counselors to engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes while still being integral members of a collaborative outpatient team. Provide individualized therapy strategies for clients, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to tailor your approach to their specific needs. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities to individuals, couples, groups, and families, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers and clinical supervisors, to ensure holistic care is provided to all clients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring thorough documentation of all interactions and treatment plans. Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and methodologies. Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will impact a broad spectrum of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. You will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment that encourages healing and growth, ensuring that every client receives personalized attention to meet their mental health needs. Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required, with a Master’s degree or Doctorate preferred. A valid and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New York is mandatory. At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required; experience in remote counseling is an advantage. Preferred Experience

Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred. Prior experience working within outpatient settings and familiarity with electronic health record systems is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $80,000 and $100,000 annually.
