Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique backgrounds and needs of clients.

Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of care and accountability.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive and coordinated client care, ensuring that treatment plans align with best practices and client goals.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest research and practices in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Grandview Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing short-term challenges such as stress management, work-life balance issues, and workplace conflicts. Your therapeutic approach will cater to various needs, including family therapy, couples counseling, and specialized support for those overcoming trauma or substance abuse. Your ability to form meaningful connections with clients from diverse backgrounds will be crucial in fostering their emotional healing and personal growth.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Texas.

A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in a mental health or outpatient setting.

A strong understanding of ethical and legal standards related to counseling practices.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect with a wide range of clients.

Annual salary ranges between USD 60,000 and 90,000, commensurate with expertise and experience.
