This role will be conducted entirely via telehealth platforms, allowing for immense flexibility and convenience for both counselors and clients. Our remote work setting is designed to create a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, where team members can share resources, best practices, and experiences. You will engage in consistent communication with your colleagues through virtual meetings and collaborative tools, ensuring that you remain integrated within our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities

Conduct individual assessments to develop personalized therapy plans and ensure that each client's unique needs are met. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy for a diverse range of clients. Offer therapy sessions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and other mental health conditions. Collaborate with other professionals and care teams to design a comprehensive approach to client care, enhancing the continuum of services offered. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality of client information. Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay current with mental health research and best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Happy Habits, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from children and adolescents to adults, with various mental health needs. Many of our clients face significant barriers to accessing services, which requires you to be adaptable and sensitive to their individual circumstances. Your ability to create a safe and trusting environment will be central to their healing process. Qualifications

A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. Must hold an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey. A minimum of two years of practical counseling experience is preferable, ideally within clinical settings. A solid understanding of legal and ethical guidelines governing practice in the mental health field. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse client base. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to coordinate client care. Proficient use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms. Preferred Experience

Specializations in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment will be regarded favorably. Experience with telehealth counseling practices and techniques is a plus. Compensation and Benefits
