Position Overview Restore Health Psychiatric Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide exceptional care to clients through a fully remote platform. As a vital member of our mental health team, you will utilize your skills as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to engage clients in meaningful therapy sessions, contributing to their mental wellness in a supportive and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health and wellness, leveraging diagnostic tools and interviews to inform treatment strategies.

Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual client goals and needs, integrating therapeutic interventions that promote healing and resilience.

Facilitate individual therapy sessions with adults, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness approaches that enhance behavioral change.

Provide timely crisis intervention for urgent mental health issues, employing de-escalation techniques and active listening to address immediate client concerns effectively.

Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in workshops and training to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated with industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily work with pre-screened adult clients who present with low-acuity mental health needs. This focused demographic ensures that you can dedicate your expertise towards providing effective and empathetic care without the overwhelming pressures of high-risk cases. This arrangement allows for deeper connections, fostering trust and continuity in the therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

Possess a valid and active license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California; candidates with a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) are also encouraged to apply.

Hold either a Master's degree or Doctoral degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.

Demonstrate robust communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong connections with a diverse client base.

Exhibit a compassionate demeanor, showing empathy and a non-judgmental attitude while assisting clients on their therapeutic journeys.

Possess well-developed organizational and time management capabilities to effectively handle caseloads and related administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for delivering therapy sessions, with familiarity in navigating electronic health record (EHR) software being a plus.

Prior work in a community health clinic, understanding the dynamics of providing care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

A background in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly with adults, is strongly preferred.
