Key Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions using secure video conferencing technology, as well as in-person consultations, tailored to your clients' needs.

Facilitate open and honest discussions to help clients explore and understand their emotions, promoting self-awareness and personal growth.

Advocate for clients, including helping them articulate their needs, set realistic and achievable goals, and track their progress towards these objectives.

Perform thorough evaluations of clients' mental health status, create personalized treatment plans, and employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques to ensure effective outcomes.

Provide ongoing support and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that clients receive the best possible care based on their evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus The clientele you will serve primarily consists of stable adults experiencing low-acuity mental health concerns. All clients undergo a thorough pre-screening process, allowing you to focus on clients whose needs align with your specialties. This structured approach ensures that you are not confronted with severe cases, enabling a more manageable and impactful counseling experience.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

Possession of a valid and unrestricted license to practice as a mental health counselor (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW), enabling you to provide care independently.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.

Strong interpersonal skills accompanied by a genuine compassionate presence when dealing with clients.

Proficient in using various technology platforms to conduct online sessions, manage documentation, and support client care workflows.

Preferred Experience While not mandatory, experience in a community health setting, especially dealing with diverse client backgrounds and low-acuity mental health challenges, is highly beneficial. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices will help in providing the most effective care to clients.

Compensation and Benefits

Generous salary in the range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
