Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and mental health evaluations to accurately diagnose and develop treatment plans tailored to individual and family needs.
Provide therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and other modalities suited to the client’s unique situation.
Facilitate counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and families, addressing issues such as relationship conflicts, mental health disorders, and life transitions.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community resources to ensure a comprehensive support system is in place for clients.
Maintain meticulous documentation and case notes in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
Engage in regular supervision and individual case reviews to enhance your clinical skills and improve treatment effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work primarily with diverse family units, including children, adolescents, couples, and seniors facing an array of mental health challenges. Our patient population often deals with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts. You will have the opportunity to impact the community directly by empowering clients to navigate their challenges and promoting mental wellness within families.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field, accompanied by active and unrestricted LMFT licensure in the state of Colorado.
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in family therapy.
Solid understanding of ethical practices, mental health regulations, and the ability to work independently while managing a client caseload effectively.
Strong communication skills to foster therapeutic relationships and engage in collaborative care.
Proficiency with telehealth systems and electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience using various therapeutic modalities and techniques to meet the diverse needs of clients.
Background in working with underserved populations and an appreciation for cultural competence in therapy.
Previous involvement in community outreach initiatives aimed at mental health education and stigma reduction.
