Position Overview L&C Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional mental health services. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own space while making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges.

Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to ensure that every patient receives the highest quality of care, tailored to their individual needs. We specialize in various mental health disorders, particularly mood disorders, and pride ourselves on our evidence-based approach to therapy.

Work Environment This role is primarily remote, providing you the autonomy to manage your work in a flexible setting, which is essential for maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend coverage on a rotating basis. You will be part of a supportive team that values open communication and teamwork, ensuring that you feel connected and engaged despite the remote nature of the work.

Key Responsibilities

Perform thorough assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms in clients, examining their severity, frequency, and duration.

Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs and aspirations.

Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive mental health outcomes.

Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies.

Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their responses to therapy.

Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, comprehensive care for clients.

Stay informed about the latest research findings and treatment methodologies in mood disorder therapy.

Maintain secure documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

Participate in case consultations and staff meetings to discuss treatment approaches, share insights, and foster a culture of continuous professional development.

Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus This role specifically focuses on individuals experiencing various mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, comprising individuals from different backgrounds and cultures, each with unique needs and perspectives regarding mental health treatment. As a therapist, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with your clients, helping to empower them in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on therapeutic approaches addressing mood disorders.

Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

A demonstrated history of successful patient outcomes in treating mood disorders.

Exceptional communication skills and the capacity to connect with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

Advanced training or certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques specific to mood disorders.

Experience in remote therapy delivery and utilizing telehealth platforms effectively.

A background in community health settings or outpatient clinics.

Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
