Will Listen Therapy is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote outpatient therapy team in Pullman, Washington. Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough client assessments through video sessions, identifying mental health issues and determining appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches, to effectively address client concerns.
Maintain complete and accurate case documentation according to ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with state guidelines.
Provide ongoing support and encouragement to clients, helping them set and achieve personal goals that contribute to their mental well-being.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to develop comprehensive treatment plans, enhancing client care through referrals and multidisciplinary approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our practice serves a diverse patient population, including individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of challenges such as relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma. As an LMFT, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from different backgrounds, utilizing a culturally sensitive approach to improve their mental health and relational dynamics.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State.
A graduate degree in therapy, psychology, or a closely related field is required to ensure a solid foundation in therapeutic principles and practices.
Demonstrated proficiency in CBT and other behavioral therapy approaches to effectively support and guide clients in their therapeutic journey.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, enhancing interactions with clients and colleagues alike.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting, ideally focused on marriage and family therapy.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems and virtual therapy platforms to streamline care delivery and documentation.
