Mantra Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive, culturally informed mental health assessments to identify and understand patients' unique challenges and perspectives.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that respect the cultural and personal backgrounds of each patient.
Facilitate a variety of therapy sessions—individual, family, and group formats—focusing on promoting resilience and coping strategies.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and effective care for patients.
Respond to crisis situations with timely interventions, providing support to patients facing mental health emergencies.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment avenues, and community resources available to them, empowering them to make informed decisions.
Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
Engage actively in case conferences and team meetings to facilitate shared learning and insights.
Participate in continual learning, enhancing your knowledge of current research and best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will primarily involve treating patients from diverse backgrounds, including those facing cultural and systemic barriers to mental health care. You will deliver therapy with a focus on inclusivity, which will allow you to connect meaningfully with clients, build rapport, and provide support reflective of their unique life experiences.
Qualifications
A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
Current and valid licensure as an
LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW
in the state of Tennessee.
A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, various evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapeutic settings.
Experience in delivering individual and group therapy utilizing engaging and inclusive approaches.
Demonstrated crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust with clients from varied backgrounds.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to manage patient records efficiently.
A commitment to uphold professional ethics, boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

Preferred Experience
Experience working in multicultural settings and a proven track record of employing culturally responsive therapeutic techniques.
Familiarity with specific populations such as veterans, families in transition, or those experiencing poverty or trauma.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
