Work Environment This position offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to engage directly with students and families through virtual counseling and collaboration with school staff. Key Responsibilities

Serve as a primary clinician providing direct psychological support and therapeutic interventions for students experiencing major mental illness or severe emotional disorders.

Conduct comprehensive, evidence-based assessments to develop tailored intervention plans that address the unique needs of each client.

Collaborate proactively with educators, administrators, and families to create an integrated approach to each student's care, ensuring access to essential mental health services.

Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions that focus on enhancing emotional resilience and promoting recovery.

Maintain thorough documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes while ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards.

Engage in ongoing professional development through training and collaboration with fellow clinicians to share best practices and refine techniques.

Provide crisis intervention and support students and families in navigating difficult situations, maintaining their safety and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents who show signs of mental health challenges. This role requires sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of students, ensuring that services are culturally responsive and tailored to meet individual needs. Your involvement will likely lead to improved educational outcomes and a better learning environment for these children, bridging the gap between mental health and education.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) with an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong focus on assessing and treating children and adolescents.

Demonstrated expertise in mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage a caseload effectively while ensuring timely documentation and reporting.

Familiarity with ethical guidelines and a commitment to upholding the standards of the social work profession.

Preferred Experience

Experience working within school systems and knowledge of educational policies affecting mental health and wellness.

Proficiency in using telehealth platforms to provide services in a remote setting.

A background in crisis intervention techniques and collaborative care models.

Compensation and Benefits In recognition of your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience.
