Position Overview Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a fully licensed and highly skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated mental health team. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs through structured interviews and screenings, accurately diagnosing and identifying appropriate treatment strategies.

Design individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific challenges and goals of each client, ensuring a personalized approach to therapy.

Facilitate therapy sessions, both individual and group, employing evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Engage in multi-disciplinary case discussions with team members to refine treatment approaches and enhance patient outcomes.

Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources to encourage active engagement in the recovery process.

Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus Our client population is diverse, spanning various age groups and cultural backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will focus on supporting individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and other psychological disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals navigate their path towards recovery and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

Must possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

A proven track record of specialized training or extensive experience in mental health counseling practices.

Strong knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Excellent interpersonal and counseling skills, with the ability to establish rapport and inspire clients to pursue their treatment goals actively.

Effective communication and team collaboration skills, essential for working alongside multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

At least 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, providing therapeutic services to a diverse clientele.

Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, with proven success in leading therapeutic discussions.

Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases and a solid grasp of crisis intervention techniques.

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for patient documentation and management.
