Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and treatment goals.
Developing and implementing personalized therapy plans that integrate evidence-based practices.
Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to client needs and therapeutic objectives.
Maintaining accurate client records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to coordinate care and refer clients to additional resources as needed.
Engaging in ongoing professional development and supervision to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who are dealing with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your client population may include children, adolescents, adults, and families, each requiring a unique approach to therapy. Your ability to connect with clients on a personal level and foster trust will be essential for facilitating their healing journey.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Pennsylvania.
A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience of at least 2 years in mental health counseling.
Strong communication skills, coupled with empathy and active listening abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and abide by ethical guidelines in all interactions.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, the following experiences will give candidates an edge:
Prior experience in an outpatient setting focusing on diverse populations.
Credentialing with various insurance providers, which will enhance your ability to serve clients effectively.
Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Compensation and Benefits
