Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.
Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in both written and electronic formats.
Engage in regular supervision, participating in group discussions, staff meetings, and case reviews to foster continuous professional growth.
Collaborate with inter-agency partners, coordinating services to optimize client outcomes and streamline care delivery.
Prepare thoroughly for client sessions by reviewing case notes, conducting necessary research, and utilizing psychometric assessments to inform treatment approaches.
Support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals by facilitating progress monitoring and adapting treatment plans as needed.
Document treatment interventions and outcomes effectively, providing clear and concise case notes to ensure ongoing continuity of care.
Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health practices, applying best practices to your clinical work and sharing insights with the team.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The clientele served by Emotion Matters encompasses a broad spectrum of ages, backgrounds, and mental health challenges. You will work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological concerns, implementing client-centered approaches tailored to their unique circumstances. Your efforts will contribute to uplifting the community’s mental health, promoting resilience and recovery.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.
Current licensure in the state of Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
A clean professional record with no history of medical malpractice claims, as confirmed by a third-party verification.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
Demonstrated clinical skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse client population.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in a community health setting or with diverse populations is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate efficient documentation and case management.
Experience with psychometric testing and treatment planning will be highly regarded.
