.Remote Quality Assurance (QA) Lead – Data Abstraction (Epic)OverviewWe are seeking a QA Lead with strong Epic EMR experience to oversee and ensure the quality of large-scale data abstraction efforts. This role will manage a team of Remote Data Abstractors, ensuring accurate abstraction of future orders, patient histories, and PAMI data. The ideal candidate combines clinical/operational knowledge with strong QA processes, leadership, and attention to detail.Responsibilities:Lead and oversee daily activities of Data Abstractors in a remote environmentDevelop, implement, and enforce QA processes, audit protocols, and abstraction standardsPerform routine and ad hoc quality audits on abstracted data (future orders, histories, PAMI)Track and report accuracy, productivity, and error trendsProvide real-time feedback, coaching, and retraining to abstraction staffServe as escalation point for complex cases, discrepancies, and data integrity issuesPartner with project leadership and clinical stakeholders to ensure alignment with workflowsEnsure compliance with HIPAA and all data security standardsRequired Qualifications:Hands-on experience with Epic EMRProven experience in data abstraction and/or QA auditing in a healthcare settingExperience reviewing or abstracting future orders, patient histories, and PAMI dataPrior team lead, QA lead, or supervisory experienceStrong understanding of clinical documentation and workflowsIntermediate (or higher) Microsoft Excel skillsHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred:Clinical background (RN, LPN, MA, or similar)Experience supporting Epic go-live, data migration, or chart conversion projectsFamiliarity with Epic modules such as Orders, ClinDoc, Ambulatory, ASAPExperience developing QA scorecards, dashboards, or reportingAdvanced/Expert Microsoft Excel skillsKey Competencies:Leadership and team management (remote teams)Quality control and continuous improvement mindsetStrong communication and coaching skillsAbility to manage deadlines in fast-paced environmentsDetails:100% RemoteType: Contract (40 hours/week)Hours: Ideally during EST business hours Mon-Fri; some overtime may be permittedDuration: TBD (multiple contract opportunities throughout 2026)Must have secure workspace and reliable internet#HCITType: ContractCategory: Solutions DeliveryDate Posted: 2026-06-09
