Establish a vision and plan to guide a long-term approach to pipeline generation and consistently deliver against revenue targets and deadlines. Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities by exploring relationships and business possibilities across the client organization. Expand relationships and orchestrate complex deals across diverse business stakeholders while using channel relationships to identify and open new opportunities. Collaborate across teams, provide timely input to corporate functions, and develop knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics to support customer engagements.Minimum Qualifications• 5+ years of direct sales experience selling enterprise software to large enterprise customers.• Experience developing and executing business plans for an assigned territory, account portfolio, or customer base, including measuring progress toward goals and addressing roadblocks.• Experience developing sales pipeline and achieving sales targets in a fast-growing, changing business environment.Preferred Qualifications• Software experience in one or more of the following: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, DevOps, security, business applications, and/or analytics.• Subscription, SaaS, or cloud software experience.• Experience in new business development with prospects and customers in a defined territory.• Experience engaging with executive stakeholders and applying active listening in customer engagements.• Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques; knowledge of Force Management, MEDDPICC, and Challenger methodologies is a plus.Why Cisco?
