Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Current SLP license valid for the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly desired
Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology for virtual delivery
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate records in a virtual environment
Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse school-aged population
Deliver therapy sessions remotely, ensuring student engagement and progress
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student’s goals
Monitor, document, and report student progress, updating goals and strategies as needed
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
