Sr. Business Operations Manager (Remote)

Rula • Full-time • Remote (Remote, Oregon, United States) • $0 / year • 2h ago

We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being. We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare. Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii. About the Role We are seeking a Sr. Business Operations Manager to spearhead the impactful, complex, and strategic cross-functional projects that drive Rula's continued growth. As an individual contributor, success requires strong analytical capabilities, strategic problem-solving, and proactive stakeholder management to align teams and turn big-picture ideas into scaled and streamlined execution. Candidates must comfortably operate at all stages of an initiative, moving fluidly through the full lifecycle of business critical projects. On any given day, this involves setting mental models, decomposing problems, making recommendations from self-served data, and establishing project requirements. End-to-end ownership is essential, and requires coordination of cross-functional partners and independent execution. If you thrive in dynamic settings, excel at tackling complex problems without a blueprint, and take pride in driving projects from initial vision to measurable impact, this role offers an opportunity to deploy those skills to improve mental health and shape Rula's long-term trajectory. Required Qualifications 7+ years of combined experience in management consulting, Business Operations and Strategy, financial analysis, demand planning, or strategic planning roles within high-growth or mid-sized companies

Bachelor’s degree and/or higher degree

Intermediate analytical modeling skills (e.g. Google Sheets and Excel), and proficiency leveraging SQL to regularly write queries independently

Demonstrated ability to convert goals into operational plans across multidisciplinary teams, including performance measurement and system and/or mechanism design

Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with a demonstrated ability to tailor messaging for audiences of diverse specializations and high seniority

Strong executive presence, with experience partnering directly with senior leaders, driving alignment, and confidently facilitating challenging conversations

Preferred Qualifications While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement. Experience working in a startup/fast paced company environment

Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Hex, PowerBI, Tableau) for building business cases and facilitating deep dive investigations

Experience leading and delivering 2+ long-term projects requiring 6+ months of continuous coordination across multidisciplinary teams

Proven 0-to-1 execution experience, with a track record of successfully launching new business lines, products, or major strategic initiatives from concept to rollout
