$130,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year Why This Is a Great Opportunity Join a sophisticated, trial-focused litigation practice where attorneys receive meaningful responsibility and genuine courtroom exposure. Opportunities are available for both developing associates and senior attorneys ready to take on leadership responsibilities. Handle complex California employment litigation involving class actions, wage and hour claims, PAGA matters, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and related disputes. Work closely with sophisticated corporate clients while developing strategy, taking depositions, arguing motions, and preparing cases for trial. Senior attorneys can help lead the employment practice, mentor associates, and manage significant matters without needing a portable book of business. Enjoy the flexibility of working fully remote from anywhere in the United States while maintaining an active California practice. Location: Fully remote anywhere in the United States. Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in California and in good standing. Note: Active California Bar admission is required. We are hiring at multiple experience levels, including an associate with at least 1 year of litigation experience and a senior associate or partner-level attorney capable of independently managing sophisticated matters and helping lead the team. A book of business is not required for the senior opening, and we strongly value candidates interested in long-term career stability. About Us Confidential Employer. We are a boutique, trial-focused litigation firm representing sophisticated businesses in complex disputes throughout California and across the country. Our employment attorneys handle significant individual, class, collective, and representative actions while working in lean teams that give attorneys meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and opportunities to develop as litigators. Job Description Handle employment litigation matters from inception through resolution, trial, and appeal. Defend employers in wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, FLSA collective actions, and individual employment disputes. Handle discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, contractual, trade secret, and related employment matters. Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs, pleadings, motions, and case evaluations. Propound and respond to discovery and manage document-intensive litigation. Prepare for, take, and defend fact, corporate representative, and expert depositions based on experience level. Prepare and argue substantive and dispositive motions in state and federal court. Work directly with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, and internal litigation teams. Manage case strategy, investigation, deadlines, and client reporting. Assist with trial preparation and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Senior attorneys will help supervise associates, guide litigation strategy, strengthen client relationships, and support leadership of the employment practice. Qualifications Active California Bar membership in good standing. 1+ year of litigation experience. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively manage litigation deadlines, discovery, motions, and multiple active matters. Strong client service, organization, judgment, and collaboration skills. Employment litigation experience is strongly preferred. Experience with wage and hour, PAGA, class actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or other California employment matters is highly valued. Senior candidates should demonstrate the ability to independently manage significant litigation and mentor or supervise junior attorneys. Trial and substantial deposition experience are preferred for senior-level candidates. Why You Will Love Working Here You can grow from hands-on associate-level litigation work into increasingly sophisticated case ownership and leadership. You will work alongside experienced trial lawyers who are comfortable taking significant matters to verdict. You will gain direct exposure to sophisticated clients and complex California employment issues. Senior attorneys have an opportunity to help lead and grow the team without bringing a book of business. You will have the flexibility of remote work without giving up sophisticated litigation, professional development, or meaningful responsibility. JPC-2112 Benefits:
