Position Overview
Looking for a work-from-home opportunity this tax season?
Join TaxSlayer's Customer Support Team and help customers across the country navigate their tax filing experience with confidence and ease. As a Seasonal Customer Service Representative, you'll assist customers by phone, email, and chat while working remotely from the comfort of your home.
No tax preparation experience is required. We provide paid training and teach you everything you need to be successful.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
Provide accurate information about product features, pricing, and availability
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, escalating when necessary
Maintain accurate customer records in the support system
Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs
Meet performance goals for response time, satisfaction, and quality
Stay informed about TaxSlayer products and services
Follow company policies, including privacy and data protection
Maintain a quiet, professional home workspace

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Previous customer support or related experience

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Comfortable using customer support software and systems
Professional and empathetic in challenging interactions
Reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps upload / 25 Mbps download)
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
