Position Overview Health First Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments to understand each client’s unique mental health concerns, establishing clinical diagnoses, and collaboratively developing tailored treatment plans.

Deliver individual therapy sessions, group counseling, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices that cater to the specific needs and preferences of clients.

Provide immediate crisis intervention and crucial support for clients facing acute mental health challenges or emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress reports, and assessments, in alignment with ethical and legal standards.

Work collaboratively with a range of professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care delivery and follow-up for each client’s journey.

Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options, empower them with information about community resources, and advocate for their rights and needs as necessary.

Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay current with best practices and innovations in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your focus will range from anxiety and depression to trauma-informed care, substance abuse disorders, and relationship conflicts. This broad spectrum of client issues requires adaptable therapeutic techniques and an understanding of cultural competency to provide the most effective and personalized care.

Qualifications

Holds a current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C).

Possesses either a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

Exhibits strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

Has a minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience.

Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.

Shows the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team of professionals.

Maintains a commitment to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred; however, motivated candidates with less direct clinical experience may be considered for entry-level roles.

Familiarity with telehealth technology and methodologies.

Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
