The Head Start Youth Counseling Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a rewarding full-time or part-time position that allows for both in-person and remote work. Implement individualized therapy strategies based on comprehensive assessments that address unique client needs. Provide therapeutic interventions supported by evidence, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. Conduct thorough evaluations and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for our clients, actively participating in case discussions and planning. Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and techniques. Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily support youth and their families, offering targeted counseling that addresses challenges including anxiety, behavioral issues, trauma, family dynamics, and more. Your clinical expertise will guide you in developing strategies that resonate with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their mental health journeys effectively. Qualifications

A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related human services field. Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling settings is required. A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards within the mental health profession. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to establish rapport and trust with a variety of clients. A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a healthcare team. Preferred Experience

Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-focused therapy is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to utilize a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of your clients. Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, with opportunities for bonuses based on performance.
