Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments via telehealth to evaluate patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans using best practices and solution-focused interventions.

Deliver diverse therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based strategies specifically tailored for a remote setting.

Maintain thorough, accurate clinical records by utilizing secure electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and confidentiality requirements.

Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, participating in virtual case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance patient care quality.

Provide education to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, leveraging digital tools for effective communication.

Stay updated on mental health research and integrate new insights into your practice through participation in virtual conferences, webinars, and training sessions.

Effectively manage a full caseload of remote patients, ensuring adherence to treatment goals while complying with ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily focus on providing psychosocial support to patients and families in hospice care. You'll address emotional and mental health challenges faced during end-of-life transitions, helping them navigate grief, loss, and anxiety. Your objective is to enhance the overall well-being of clients, ensuring they receive compassionate and comprehensive support tailored to their needs.

Qualifications

A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential.

Hold a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license to practice in the state of Florida.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in dealing with mental health therapy, is required.

Demonstrated proficiency in providing solution-focused psychotherapy interventions, adapting them effectively for the remote delivery of care.

Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients in a digital environment.
