Position Overview
Community of Hope Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our outpatient practice in Amarillo, Texas. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing our counselors to focus on delivering exceptional mental health services to our diverse clientele while managing their own schedules. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing clients' mental health and developing tailored therapeutic strategies to help them address a variety of issues ranging from anxiety and depression to substance abuse and eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and establish their needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
Provide individual counseling sessions, maintaining consistent and regular contact with clients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct remote therapy sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to facilitate comprehensive care and provide necessary referrals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and enhance counseling skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Community of Hope Counseling Services, you will work with a varied client base, addressing an array of mental health issues including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is a fundamental requirement.
Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
Demonstrated clinical experience within the mental health field.
Exceptional skills in communication, critical thinking, and compassionate listening are essential.
Preferred Experience
While a minimum of clinical experience is required, candidates with specialized training or experience in diverse treatment modalities (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, or family therapy) will be highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth services and experience with electronic health record systems will enhance your candidacy.
Compensation and Benefits
