Key Responsibilities

Maintain meticulous and audit-compliant records for all clients in care, ensuring accuracy and completeness in documentation.

Coordinate and participate in the evaluation process for interns, including performance reviews and developing corrective action plans, as necessary.

Oversee intern caseloads and assignments while supporting programmatic outcomes to enhance service delivery.

Collaborate with Centralized Intake, school site contacts, and clinical supervisors to monitor intern performance and address any concerns promptly.

Engage in ongoing quality assurance initiatives to ensure agency compliance with policies, procedures, and funding requirements.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to align with best practices and agency goals.

Provide clinical consultation in crisis and non-crisis situations to clients and their families, either in person or via phone.

Uphold a safe and welcoming environment by ensuring physical spaces are tidy, and all maintenance issues are reported without delay.

Implement and monitor clinical program objectives and service delivery requirements to ensure effective therapeutic interventions.

Deliver psychotherapy services tailored to the specific needs of the client population.

Manage the intern recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding process aligned with organizational goals.

Plan and coordinate recruitment events, ensuring compliance with university and agency documentation requirements for interns and trainees.

Facilitate training sessions to educate interns and collaborating universities on evolving federal, state, and county regulations affecting practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus This role focuses primarily on providing support to clients in a hospice center, where the emotional needs are particularly sensitive. Clients may include terminally ill patients and their families, requiring a deep understanding of grief, loss, and the end-of-life process. As an LCSW, you will be expected to deliver compassionate, client-centered care while utilizing evidence-based practices in your therapeutic approach. Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

Must hold an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Demonstrable experience in clinical social work, particularly within hospice or end-of-life care settings, is preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Proficiency in electronic health record systems, specifically the AWARDS system, is advantageous.

Reliable internet connection and the ability to provide telehealth services remotely.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience working in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life services.

Familiarity with therapeutic modalities used for grief counseling and support.

Experience in supervising or mentoring interns or trainees in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
