Thrive Mind Family Therapy is seeking a dedicated and licensed professional counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients, ensuring individualized care.
Provide therapeutic interventions to diverse client groups, including individuals, couples, and families, employing various methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
Document all clinical notes accurately and timely, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the clinic to ensure comprehensive and holistic treatment for all clients.
Engage in continuous professional development activities to remain informed about new therapeutic techniques and mental health research.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The LPC in this role will work with clients facing a range of challenges, including stress management, relationship conflicts, trauma, and substance abuse. We focus on providing evidence-based care for individuals undergoing various life transitions, seeking personal development, or experiencing mental health crises. Your expertise will significantly affect the emotional well-being of our clients and empower them to achieve their personal goals.
Qualifications
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience is essential, particularly in a clinical setting.
Strong knowledge of the legal and ethical standards of counseling is mandatory.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are vital for building rapport with a diverse clientele.
A proven history of collaborating effectively within a healthcare team will enhance your application.
Preferred Experience
