Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat, handling scheduled appointments efficiently.
Facilitating discussions about clients' emotions, experiences, and therapeutic goals, fostering a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship.
Developing individualized treatment plans that help clients set, monitor, and achieve their personal therapeutic goals.
Identifying potential barriers to recovery and implementing preventive strategies within sessions.
Offering advice on healthy coping mechanisms tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Continuously monitoring client progress throughout the treatment plan, making adjustments when necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The clients you will serve through our tele-therapy network are screened and prequalified to ensure stability and a lower acuity level. You will be working primarily with adults facing varied mental health challenges, allowing you to employ your skills effectively to foster positive client outcomes. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
An active and independent LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) certification. *Note: Limited/provisional licenses are not acceptable, and no disciplinary actions should be present against your license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective and empathetic interaction with clients.
Strong interpersonal skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to understand diverse client backgrounds and needs.
Proficiency with technology, including digital communication platforms and telehealth services.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in telehealth counseling, providing therapy for anxiety, depression, and other common mental health issues. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and interventions will also be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with hours worked. Additional benefits include:
