Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of hospice patients and develop personalized, culturally sensitive treatment plans.

Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices that align with the unique experiences of patients facing end-of-life transitions.

Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive integrated support, addressing both emotional and physical health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this role is to provide mental health support to patients in hospice care—a sensitive and often emotionally charged setting. Your therapeutic interventions will be vital in helping them navigate their emotional landscapes and cope with grief, pain, and existential concerns.

Qualifications

Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or related mental health credential.

A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required, with a focus on clinical training.

A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a hospice or palliative care environment.

Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices for managing various mental health disorders.

Compensation and Benefits

Your annual salary will range from USD 60,000 to 104,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
