Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Prime Health Counseling, you will be responsible for a wide range of clinical duties, including:

Conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals, couples, and families, determining appropriate treatment plans.

Facilitating therapy sessions that may include joint sessions with couples, individual sessions, or family therapy.

Addressing pressing psychological issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and job stress.

Utilizing evidence-based practices to deliver therapy, ensuring that interventions are tailored to the unique dynamics and needs of the family unit.

Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes, utilizing digital health records to maintain accurate records.

Engaging actively in case consultation and professional development, contributing to team meetings with insights from your clinical experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily focus on working with adults as well as children and adolescents. Your patients may include individuals facing various challenges, including those from blended families, patients dealing with separation and divorce, and families experiencing communication breakdowns. Your expertise will be essential in guiding them through these challenges, equipping them with effective coping strategies and conflict-resolution skills.

Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach to therapy.

Ability to work remotely and leverage technology for therapeutic sessions and patient communications.

Preferred Experience While not mandatory, the following experiences and skills will be highly regarded:

Experience in private practice or community health settings focused on family therapy.

Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital tools for mental health.

Experience in treating specific issues such as grief, blended family dynamics, and conflict resolution.
